If you're still in town on Saturday, October 3, join us at Denver PorchFest in the Baker neighborhood. This free, community-driven music festival transforms front porches into stages, with local musicians performing throughout the day.Spend some time strolling the neighborhood, discovering new artists, and soaking up one more beautiful fall day together. There's no schedule, no RSVP, and no pressure—come for a song, an hour, or the whole afternoon.

We'll share a meetup spot and more details closer to the date. We'd love to see you there!

There is a train (A-Line) at the airport that will take you to Downtown Denver's Union Station where you can get an uber or lyft to your hotel. Or there are plenty of rideshare options directly from the airport.

WILL THE WEDDING BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Weather permitting, the majority of the wedding, cocktail hour, reception and dancing will take place outside. Dinner will take place inside.

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED AT THE WEDDING?

All invites are addressed to everyone we are expecting. If you believe someone should be included on your invite that is not please reach out to Chelsea or Josh

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS DURING THE CEREMONY?

We ask that you do not take pictures during the ceremony, but we will give everyone a chance before the vows to take a picture of us if they would like :)

IS THERE TRANSPORTATION TO AND/OR FROM THE VENUE?

To the wedding, we encourage all guests to drive or use a rideshare like Uber or Lyft. However, we will be providing a shuttle back after the wedding, since cell service is not guarenteed. Please indicate if you are interested in the shuttle after the wedding on your RSVP.

WHAT KIND OF FOOD WILL BE SERVED?

We are being catered by a local company Wildfire Cuisine. They will be preparing wood fired pizzas for our meal along with a few appetizers during cocktail hour. Please disclose any dietary restrictions in your RSVP and we will make sure you are accommodated.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Semi-Formal

OUR STORY

Chelsea and Josh met the old fashioned way: the dating app Hinge. Josh won Chelsea over with what was, admittedly, the refreshingly normal opening line: “Hey, have you ever been to City Park Jazz?” Which, sadly, was a refreshingly normal question to ask a stranger enough to exchange numbers and go on a date. Their first date was at The Thin Man, which is where Josh eventually proposed (around the corner). Over beers, they discussed similar interests in music, movies, shared midwest upbringings, and the general state of the world (not good).

They went on more dates, whether that was out for pozole or for Josh to see Dune for 3rd time. From there they met families, combined friend groups, and eventually moved in together, bought a house, adopted Willow. Wondering if there's a section of fun facts. - Another fun fact could be Chelsea's initial green flag was how quickly Sadie took to Josh. Josh's was that Chelsea drove him to the airport in the middle of the blizzard to make his flight to Mexico City after the A-Line shut down. - Every Valentine’s Day, Chelsea and Josh make homemade pizza. - Josh and Chelsea’s birthdays are exactly 6 months apart (Josh is July 14th and Chelsea’s is January 14) -

Chelsea and Josh love to go to concerts and there is a picture of them before they met each other back to back at the Underground Music Showcase (a local festival). Even before they knew each other the universe was trying to bring them together! Photo below.

OUR STORY

Chelsea and Josh’s love story started out the old fashioned way...by matching on Hinge. Around September 2021, Josh messaged Chelsea asking if she had ever been to City Park Jazz and after a couple more messages, numbers were exchanged and they decided to meet up at an awesome local bar, The Thin Man, to grab a drink. They spent the next couple hours discussing music, movies, their shared midwest upbringing, and the general state of the world (not good).

Their relationship really started to take shape over the next couple dates which included going out for pazole (one of Chelsea’s favorite foods), seeing Dune (can you guess whos idea that date was?), and Josh cooking Shrimp tacos for Chelsea, which still is a regular meal on the menu at home.

Chelsea says one of the earliest green flags was Josh’s ability to cook and how quickly Sadie warmed up to him. Josh says he knew it was serious when Chelsea drove him to the airport to catch a flight to Mexico City on New Years Day in the middle of a snowstorm with her heater barely working.

Chelsea and Josh like to spend their free time traveling, going to comedy shows, concerts, cooking, eating, hiking, exploring Denver coffee shops and thrift stores, but more often than not, you’ll catch them cozied up at home with their dog Willow.
